The Guest House

We love staying at the ranch. It’s simply gorgeous. We love seeing the cows and the horses. It’s quiet and the guest ranch is quaint. We LOVE it!! We have been there two times!! You really need to stay two nights!!

What a wonderful find Melissa’s place is. The accommodations were top notch. Comfortable, clean, beautiful views of nature everywhere. New bed is so comfy. Quiet. Hummingbirds, sweet horses, cows, friendly and lovely pups, newly hatched baby birds and hills and valleys for miles. Melissa was an excellent host always ready to help and responds so quickly from the moment I was thinking about booking. I was lucky to have some time to chat with Melissa and learned so much. She is lovely and makes you feel really welcome. She is passionate about her cows, how they are raised and cared for which was so great to see. She does it all right. I also met her husband who was also quite lovely. She has some products for sale from the farm that I purchased and am enjoying. Almost forgot the free roaming chickens . Loved them. Truly free roaming! I had the best sleep. The water pressure was strong which I loved and there are books all about the farms, Marin County, birds etc. One that her family is part of and shows her mom and dad and what they built together. I was craving being with nature and animals and I got my fix. I will return.

What a gorgeous place to stay! It’s surrounded by beautiful landscape, cows, horses and chickens! We were greeted by a Great Pyrenees that was so friendly. The Ranch House met all our needs. Full of windows to see the gorgeous working ranch. We met Melissa who’s very nice and available if we needed something. We sat outside at night to stargaze and we were visited by June, the sweetest little Boxer pup! We will definitely want to stay there again!!

Our stay in the Ranch house was everything we wanted and more. I’ll start with the rental itself. It has a French Provincial Chic decor which was so cute and comfy (from the fluffy bath towels to the king size bed)! The kitchen was stocked with all cooking items needed, we just had to buy the food. Now to the ranch…. Dogs, horses, chickens and cows. We loved all of the animals! The dogs were our guides on our hike up the property. And the views all around are just amazing! It is centrally located to a cute town (Point Reyes Station), the ocean (we saw seals, sea lions and whales) and the Bay Area (an hour from SFO airport). This place is a must stay if you are around San Francisco!
